SYNOPSIS
A strict examination process regulates the population's meat consumption: If you want to eat meat, you must kill an animal. Young reporter Elie sets out to document the process in the slaughterhouse. However, only those who participate can enter. Elie must face the act of killing. As she stands before the animal, her convictions are put to the test.
